Seven Days in May
A political thriller about an attempted military takeover of the United States, dating from 1964, when Barry Goldwater was first making paranoia a marketable movie commodity. John Frankenheimer directed, too much in love with technique, though he ably taps the neuroticism of Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, and Fredric March.
