John Guillermin's staging of Agatha Christie's murder mystery is unforgivably sluggish, repetitious, and clumsy, with only a few hammy star turns (by Maggie Smith, Bette Davis, and Angela Lansbury) to recommend it. What's worse, I figured out whodunit before it was dun--and if I can do it, believe me, anybody can.
